The Korea Forest Service (Director Park Jong-ho) will hold a 'mountain and forest retro-style photo certification event' on February 10 through the World Forest General Assembly's official Nuri Communication Network (Instagram: http//instagram.com/wfc2021seoul).
The certification event was designed to indirectly inform the people of Korea's successful forest restoration history and promote the 15th World Forest Conference (WFC), which succeeded in attracting it in recognition of its policy achievements.
The World Forestry Conference is the most influential international event in the forest sector held every six years. The World Forest Conference was held in Indonesia in 1978. For the first time since then, the event will be held in the Asia-Pacific region in 44 years.
Korea was able to successfully restore forests that were devastated in the 1950s through the efforts of the entire nation, and the dense forests have been established as a resting place loved by the people.
Anyone can participate in this event, and anyone can participate by posting past photos set in the mountains and forests on Instagram with the mark of essential keywords.
It will run for 12 days from February 10 to February 21, and 50 of the participants will be given a certain amount of goods through draw lots.
