Daejeon City Museum of Art (Director Sun Seung-hye) will present a video introducing the works of participating artists of the Daejeon Creative Center's exhibition ‘The Ring of Sense’ online.

For ordinary citizens who cannot see the exhibition directly through Corona Pandemic, it is provided free of charge to anyone on social network services of art museums such as YouTube and Facebook.

The ‘Ring of Sense' is an exhibition that reflects the 'restoration of humanity' of mankind by connecting human five senses (visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, etc.) with an artistic sense.

This online artist talk consists of the background of the exhibition, the intention of planning, the newly produced work videos by the artists, and the installation of the exhibition hall.

The video shows that Kim Young-sam, a photographer who looked at the world with deaf eyes, Kim Ji-soo, who collected the scent of Daeheungdong Cathedral for 100 years, Choi Hee, who introduced modern mime, and Noh Sang-hee, who showed sound art that stimulates the senses.

Sun Seung-hye, director of the Daejeon Museum of Art, said, "We want to connect the lost senses to Daejeon citizens who are tired of the Corona Pandemic era with art and heal their daily lives. Through this exhibition video, we hope that art and society will overcome together with empathy art that dreams of progressive solidarity overcoming disasters.“
