The 'JSCUP Youth Soccer Championship' with Park Ji-sung will be held in Boryeong City.

To this end, the city agreed to hold the Boryeong Mud JSCUP U12&11 Youth Soccer Championship in Boryeong for three years from this year, attended by officials such as Mayor Kim Dong-il, JS Foundation Chairman Park Sung-jong, and Boryeong City Sports Chairman Kang Chul-ho.

According to the agreement, Boryeong City and the JS Foundation will hold the competition every August for the next three years, with a total of 48 teams participating, including 24 teams under 12 and 24 teams under 11.

The JSCUP U12 is an international youth soccer Championship that was held in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province between 2014 and 2017 to provide international soccer exchange opportunities for aspiring Asian soccer players.

The city has been striving to develop the sports industry, including hosting the 2021 Asian Yacht Federation Cup Boryeong International Yacht Competition, creating Ungcheon Sports Park, and creating Boryeong Sports Park.

Mayor Kim Dong-il said, "Please make every effort to prepare for the tournament so that this agreement can develop the value of aspiring soccer players and grow further.“
