Nonsan City and TJB Daejeon Broadcasting will create a new platform for supporting young start-ups together.
Nonsan City (mayor Hwang Myung-sun) announced its plan to recruit young people who want to start the restaurant industry as part of a tourism development project in the Ganggyeong Modern History and Culture Street, foster young businessmen in the region, and create a street full of youth and vitality.
Participants are individuals or teams of young people aged 19-39 in the jurisdiction, and a total of five (team) will be selected after receiving applications by the 30th.
If selected for youth start-ups, they will receive various opportunities such as free lease operation, start-up incubation, and brand marketing for up to five years. In particular, urban space planning startup ‘Iksundada’ (CEO Park Ha-na and Park Ji-hyun) will serve as a mentor for young people in the process of incubating recipe development and branding marketing, delivering vivid information with live field experience.
In addition, TJB Daejeon Broadcasting will feature youth start-up selection, incubation process, and start-up process every other week from July to December, which will not only convey the enthusiasm and spirit of young start-ups but also enhance nationwide interest in Ganggyeong Modern History and Culture Street.
Prospective young entrepreneurs who wish to participate can fill out and submit an application by e-mail through the Nonsan City Hall website (www.nonsan.go.kr) or the TJB Daejeon Broadcasting website (www.tjb.co.kr) by the 30th.

Ganggyeong Modern History and Culture Street is called the 'Museum Without a Roof' because it has various modern cultural heritages. Through the restoration of modern and contemporary culture, building maintenance, and alley maintenance projects, it will change into a splendid shape in the 1900s, and it is expected to become a representative tourist attraction in Nonsan.
