Sapsido Island and Godaedo Island, located in Ocheon-myeon, Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do, were selected as the '2021, 30 Islands I Want to Visit' announced by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

In the case of Boryeong City, Sapsido Island and Oeyeondo Island were selected in 2016, Sapsido Island in 2017, Jang-Godo Island in 2018, Hodo Island, Godaedo Island, Sodo Island in 2019, and Wonsan Island, Nokdo Island, and Jang-Godo Island in 2020.
This year, based on big data that analyzed island travelers' tastes, it was selected by dividing it into five themes: 'Island Good to Walk', 'Island Good to Take Pictures', 'Island of Story', 'Island of Rest' and 'Island of Experience'. Sapsido was selected for the 'Island Good to Walk' theme, and Godaedo for the 'Island of Story' theme, respectively.
