The Overseas Koreans Foundation (Chairman Seong-gon Kim) announced on April 12 that the 19th World Korean Business Convention will be held in Daejeon Metropolitan City from October 19 to 21 in parallel online and offline.
The World Korean Business Convention is the largest business network event for the Korean people, attended by overseas Korean businessmen and domestic businessmen.
The 19th World Korean Business Convention was originally scheduled to be held in Busan Metropolitan City from October 28 to 30 last year, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year's competition will be held under the theme of 'The 4th Industrial Revolution and Green New Deal for Response to Climate Change'.
Meanwhile, the Foundation will hold the World Korean Business Convention Steering Committee and Leading CEO Forum through online videoconference for two days from April 12 to 13, in which 50 heads of Korean economic groups from 15 countries, businessmen and businessmen participate.
The Steering Committee to be held on the 12th will discuss last year's steering committee results, discuss this year's World Korean Business Convention operation plan and overseas hosting of the Korean Business Convention, and select the venue for the 20th World Korean Business Convention in 2022. On the 13th, the new leading CEO will be held at the Leading CEO Forum. We plan to discuss appointments and the selection of forum venues.
