The missionary village in Ojeong-dong is a hidden attraction in Daejeon that frequently appeared on various filming sites. After missionaries left Korea in the early 1990s, they established a Linton Academy to commemorate the founder of Hannam University, William Alderman Linton. A collaboration between Western architecture and Korean architecture, including red brick with mountain-style roofs reflecting the unique Korean era in the 1950s, and the gathering of main entrances to the front door, offers an exotic building.

The missionary village became more well known as a filming location for movies and dramas. The films "The Last Princess (Princess Deokhye)," "MEMOIR OF A MURDERER," "Once in a Summer" and the drama "Mother" were filmed. If you have a chance, it's good to look for scenes in the movie.

It is impressive that this type of architecture remains in the university, and the chairman and founder are foreigners, making it more notable for their architectural form not easily seen in Korea.

Many people come and go for a walk because the campus in the university is wide. Several buildings seemed to form a complex, and in addition to the exhibition space, there is also a space operated as an educational practice room.
