The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Oct. 25 said it is co-organizing the month-long K-Expo this year that starts next month with other government agencies.

This year's event combines programs hosted by individual agencies through last year, including the Culture Ministry's "On: Hallyu Festival," the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's "Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo," the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' "Buy Korean Food," and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' "Korean Seafood."

K-Expo's events include online performances using virtual technology, export consultations and real-time sales events on the web, sales promotions by both domestic and foreign online distribution networks, and broadcasts promoting Hallyu content.

Also featured will be retailers like Shopee, Amazon and Qoo10 Japan offering Hallyu products online at low prices in real time, along with influencers such as content creators on social media.

The Grand Ballroom of the Seoul COEX in the city's Gangnam-gu District from Nov. 8-11 will have rooms for online consultations on exports, exhibition halls for Hallyu-related products and a support room for real-time sales (live commerce).

About 400 domestic companies will support online export consultations and post interactive content and an array of Hallyu products.

On Nov. 6, K-pop concerts and events for interactions with Hallyu fans will be livestreamed worldwide on SBS K-pop's YouTube channel and TikTok.

More information on K-Expo's main programs and schedule is available on its official website (http://kexpo.kr) in Korean and English.
