Canon Korea Co., Ltd., a total imaging solution company announced that it will hold collaboration events with Hyung-won Kang, a photojournalist of Canon Gallery, and host a YouTube live seminar to commemorate the launch of the high-speed full-frame mirrorless EOS R3.
Photojournalist Hyungwon Kang was the first Korean photojournalist to win the Pulitzer Prize in 1993 and won his second Pulitzer in 1999. Kang has worked as a photographer and editor at the LA Times, The AP, Thomson-Reuters, and the White House. Currently, he is working on the "Visual History of Korea" project to accurately record the Korean history and culture for the English-speaking world.
Canon will hold a photo exhibition "Visual History of Korea & EOS R3" at Canon Gallery from November 23 (Tue) to December 26 (Sunday) to commemorate the launch of the new EOS R3. The exhibition is designed to allow visitors to appreciate photographic works taken with the new high-end full-frame mirrorless EOS R3 and realize overwhelming performance.
The photo exhibition will showcase works that capture Korean-specific emotions, traditional performances, native animals, and natural scenery. Most of the work at the exhibits is taken with EOS R3, so you can see the beauty of Korean culture and the excellent performance of EOS R3. The "Visual History of Korea & EOS R3" photo exhibition runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day at Canon Gallery, and anyone can enjoy it without a separate admission fee.
A YouTube live seminar was held to share the vivid stories by photographer Hyungwon Kang on November 25th (Thursday) at 7:30 pm, on Canon's official YouTube channel 'Canon TV'.
In this live seminar, photographer HyungWon Kang shared his experiences of using the EOS R3 camera for about two months, and various pictures taken with the EOS R3 and behind-the-scenes stories.
