Daejeon City Corporation (대전도시공사) is the first local public company to join the UNGC (UN Global Compact) and receive a certificate. UNGC is a UN-affiliated specialized organization proposed to encourage companies to participate in sustainable balanced development and improve social ethics and the environment. With the city corporation's joining of UNGC, ESG management, which focuses on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, will also gain momentum.
