Daejeon Mayor Heo Tae-Jung has recently received a courtesy visit from Mr. Park Gwang-Seok, the head of the Korea Meteorological Administration, who started relocating to Daejeon on February 22.
By delivering a welcome bouquet, he expressed Daejeon citizens’ heartwarming welcome to the Korea Meteorological Administration, which marked an opening of a new era in Daejeon.
The policy department of the Korea Meteorological Administration will complete the relocation to Daejeon by the 27th and start full-fledged work from March 2.
Meanwhile, business departments are planning to build and relocate the National Meteorological Center at the Daejeon Government Complex by June 2026.
