In celebration of Science Month, Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science will hold ‘Shinsegae Nexperium Science Week’ for four weeks from the 4th of April to the 1st of May. ‘Shinsegae Nexperium Science Week’ was prepared to provide children who use Shinsegae Nexperium with opportunities to experience science more enjoyable through various programs to mark the month of science in April.
First, a robot soccer tournament will be held at the ‘Robot Play Playground’ in the Science Center for elementary school students who wish to participate. The robot soccer tournament, which is held as a two-on-two team match, is divided into the elementary school lower grades (grades 1-3) and the upper grades (grades 4-6), respectively. At 14:00, there will be a final tournament for 8 teams in each group at Haneul Park. Teams advancing to the finals will be screened through mission performance records during the preliminaries, and separate prizes will be presented to the winning and runner-up teams in groups.
On May 1, the last day of the event, ‘Nexperium Golden Bell’ will be held on the 7th floor open stage. Among Shinsegae Nexperium users, elementary school students who wish to participate are eligible, and only 40 people can apply on a first-come, first-served basis from two groups: the lower grades (1-3 grades) and the upper grades (4-6 grades). The last person in each group will be determined through the Nexperium exhibit and a basic science quiz, and a separate prize will be presented to participants who match the last person with a special problem.
In addition, package admission tickets are sold only during Science Week. Package tickets are sold at 70,000 won for children and 50,000 won for adults, and you can enter 4 times during the event period. In particular, a separate science experience kit is provided to customers who purchase the package at each visit.
Meanwhile, Shinsegae Nexperium is an edutainment space where you can enjoy science and culture at the same time. Its characteristic is that anyone can understand and enjoy science in an easy and fun way.
