Daejeon City signs the first investment agreement with 4 promising companies

4 companies invested a total of KRW 56.2 billion - Expected to create 190 jobs.

The Daejeon Metropolitan Government announced on the 12th that it has signed the first investment agreement for the eighth term of the popular election with four promising companies that are recognized for their excellent technology in related fields.

The agreement was attended by Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo, Innertron CEO Cho Hak-Rae, Ibule Photonics CEO Lee Sang-gu, CTLA CEO Ko Jaedeok, and BENOC CEO Cho Hong-joo.

Innertron Co., Ltd. is a company that develops and produces core components used in mobile communication base station systems around the world, and plans to invest 30 billion won under this agreement to move to Ansan Advanced Defense Industrial Complex.

In 2020, it was selected as the national 1,000 innovative company, and this year, it was selected as the '22 Small Manager Best Company' to lead the global market in the core strategic technology field and is receiving customized corporate support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy.

Ibule Photonics Co., Ltd. was selected as the best company in the component industry in 2021 by developing medical ultrasonic piezoelectric devices and underwater acoustic sensor piezoelectric materials for military use. The Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy plans to relocate to Ansan Advanced Defense Industrial Complex as a company that receives customized corporate support, and the investment is 8.4 billion won.

CTLA Co., Ltd. is a global aviation parts company that designs, develops, tests, and produces core aviation parts specialized in the global aviation business, and plans to move to Ansan Advanced Defense Industrial Complex, with an investment of 5.8 billion won.

After entering the optical lens field, BENOC Co., Ltd. is planning to expand and relocate into Daedeok-gu as the No. 1 company in the field of glasses lenses and AR (enhanced reality) optical lenses, and the investment is 12 billion won. 

The Daejeon Metropolitan Government expects to create more than 190 new jobs under the agreement. 

Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo said, "The companies we signed today are the key drivers for Daejeon to grow into a top economic city," adding, "We will make active efforts to attract promising companies that can create quality jobs by securing 1652.8 hectar of industrial land."
