Legal drama rules Netflix's chart for programs not in English

The Korean series "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" has topped Netflix's global viewing chart for dramas not in English.

Netflix Top 10, the official website for ranking viewership of the streaming service's content, on July 14 said the series saw 23.95 million viewing hours to finish No. 1 on the chart in the second week of this month (July 4-10).

Season 3 of the Mexican drama "Control Z" finished second with 18.08 million hours.

American companies have also offered to remake "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."

The drama's production agency AStory on July 14 said it is reviewing offers to remake the program in the U.S.

The series has an average rating of nine out of 10 on the Internet Movie Database, or IMDB, of the U.S. Comments by overseas viewers on the drama include "It's a very touching and heartwarming drama," "It's the most interesting Korean drama I've ever seen despite just four episodes being released (so far)" and "Park Eun-bin (who plays the main character) delicately but realistically reflects the difficulties faced by people with autism."

The series is about Woo Young-woo, an autistic but genius young lawyer who solves cases at a big law firm in her own ways.
