The '2022 Gyeryong World Military Culture Expo' will be held from October 7 to 23 at the runway of Gyeryongdae in South Chungcheong Province.
Organizing Committee to create a high-quality exhibition hall: The past, present, and future of the military at a glance

According to the Gyeryong World Military Culture Expo Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) on the 1st, this event was organized into three themes: theme zone, defense zone, and industry zone to present differentiated content that harmonizes defense and industry along with the theme of military culture. There will be a dog exhibition hall and one experience hall.

The theme zone will consist of the World Peace Hall, the Korean Peninsula Hope Hall, and the Republic of Korea Defense Hall for the purpose of directing the theme of this event, 'K-military, harmony of peace.' In the Defense Zone, you can see the military culture of each country at a glance, and in the Industrial Zone, there will be a 4th Industry Convergence Hall and a Regional Industry Hall that introduces cutting-edge technologies that drive world peace and the industries of Chungcheongnam-do.

Also, at the Defense Experience Center, which is created by the army, contents are being prepared to experience the status of the state-of-the-art science armed forces and friendly military cultures, such as the SMART Army, drone bot combat system, and warrior platform.

When creating the exhibition hall, the organizing committee carefully arranged the exhibits in consideration of the movement for the vulnerable, such as infants and toddlers, the elderly, and the disabled. It will be transferred and used permanently. In particular, it is a plan to induce safe and comfortable viewing by placing exhibition contents with the highest priority on the safety of visitors who establish a safety management plan in preparation for emergency situations that may occur in exhibition halls.

“We are thoroughly preparing the essence of military culture that cannot be experienced anywhere else in line with the latest trends,” said Yoo Byung-hoon, secretary general of the organizing committee.
