"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" has topped the Netflix chart for TV shows not in English for the fourth consecutive week.
According to Netflix Top 10 released on Aug. 24 by the official Netflix site, the hit drama saw 77.43 million viewing hours in the third week of this month (Aug. 15-21), the highest among TV shows not in English on the streaming platform.
This is the sixth week that the drama has ruled the chart since its June 29 release.
The series went No. 1 in the second week of last month (July 4-10) and the third (July 11-17) before falling to second in the fourth (July 18-24) behind the Spanish drama "Alba."
"Woo" returned to No. 1 in the fifth week (July 25-31) and has remained there for four straight weeks. The 16th and final episode was aired on Aug. 18.
The drama is about a genius lawyer who is in the autism spectrum. Its viewership has risen every week with each heartwarming episode.
Its viewing hours has risen for seven straight weeks through the third week of this month since posting 23.95 million in the second week of last month (July 4-10).
Two other Korean works are in the top five of the Netflix chart for TV shows not in English: the original Netflix series "A Model Family" (third) and "Alchemy of Souls" (fifth) produced by the cable channel tvN.
