Korea Ecotourism Society and WalkintoKorea has come to an agreement in order to push the growth of ecotourism

 

Korea Ecotourism Society is an incorporated association founded on May 12th of 2010, in accordance with the Natural Environment Conservation Act Article 55 Clause 2, to serve the purpose of promoting the development of ecotourism for natural resources conservation and wise use. 

WalkintoKorea (워크인투코리아) is a media press platform of WalkintoCity, a global tourism company dedicated to promoting local tourism and attracting tourists. WalkIntoKorea provides interesting traveling ideas for foreigners living in South Korea as well as overseas and presents the beauty of Korea's culture. 


The Korea Ecotourism Society and the Global Promotion Media WalkintoKorea were held on October 25, 2022 at Shin Park in Seoul.
Two parties discussed the topic of revitalizing ecotourism and ecotourism exchange.
In the end, they came to an agreement and an MOU was signed to revitalize ecotourism.

Jang Byeong-gwon(장병권), co-chairman of the Korea Ecotourism Society, said he hopes that through the cooperation of the two organizations, Korea's ecotourism will be more widely known and exchanged throughout the world.
Afterward, there has been a special lecture by Kang Dea-hoon (강대훈), CEO of WalkintoKorea.
CEO Kang Dae-hoon said, " The promotion strategy of ecotourism should first discover the value of ecological resources, connect these values ​​and resources ecologically, communicate with the world with the help of ICT technology, and connect with the global agenda of mankind."
In the future, these two organizations will conduct educational and ecological discovery activities for 29 representative ecotourism sites in Korea.
