The ringing ceremony will feature 14 civil representatives including Oh Se-hoon, the Mayor of Seoul and Cho Gue-sung, a member of the national soccer team who competed in the World Cup in Qatar, and will be streamed live by popular YouTubers. Starting at 22:50, various events and performances are planned including gugak and popera performances to ring in the New Year.

330-inch screen will be set-up at Gwanghwamun Square and DDP to show the bell ringing ceremony. People going to Gwanghwamun Square can also enjoy Seoul Light Gwanghwa and Seoul Lantern Festival, whereas people going to DDP can watch Seoul Light DDP.
