Park Beom-in (박범인), the county mayor of Geumsan (금산군), attended the Geumsan Red Ginseng Promotion Event in Bad Homburg, Germany. Thirteen local companies participated in the event, displaying and promoting their products.
During the event, Mayor Park discussed with the CEO of PanAsia, Jeong Jong-wan (정종완), about promoting Geumsan Red Ginseng in Europe and encouraged the participating companies.
To enhance the brand recognition of Geumsan Red Ginseng and increase its popularity in Europe, the county government will hold a promotion event from the 2nd to the 17th of this month in Bad Homburg, Germany, and Vienna, Austria.
Thirteen local companies will participate in the event, showcasing and selling a total of 26 Geumsan Red Ginseng products. In addition, there will be various promotional events such as demonstrations and tastings of ginseng-fried samgyetang and red ginseng latte, and the operation of a Geumsan Red Ginseng online shopping mall for Korean food in Europe.
Mayor Park Beom-in said, "Through this event, we have taken another step closer to the globalization of Geumsan Red Ginseng. Although ginseng is still unfamiliar to the European market, we will do our best to make Geumsan Red Ginseng stand tall as K-ginseng, riding the K-wave that is spreading worldwide."
