As the largest smart farm company in South Korea, Woodeumgee Farm has received commendations for its innovative agricultural technology at the '2023 Korea Expo France' held in Paris.

Earlier this year, during the official visit of President Yoon Seok-ryul (윤석열) to the United Arab Emirates, Woodeumgee Farm accompanied the economic delegation and attracted substantial investments from Middle Eastern buyers. This achievement served as proof of the company's growth potential.

The expo, organized by the Korea International Trade Association and ExpoForum, took place from the 13th to the 15th of last month at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center in Paris. Notably, this year's event held special significance as it commemorated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Europe, symbolizing a platform for global harmony.

Woodeumgee Farm, as an outstanding company from Chungnam Province, participated in the expo and showcased its flagship products, Tomango and Tomango juice. The company conducted numerous on-site buyer meetings, signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with local K-Marts in Paris, and engaged in consecutive export consultations, amounting to approximately 400,000 euros.

Visitors who tasted Tomango at the event expressed their enthusiasm and rushed to purchase the product on the spot. The high demand was so significant that the samples brought from Korea proved to be insufficient.

Woodeumgee Farm distinguishes itself as a leading smart farm enterprise that leverages advanced ICT-based integrated cultivation environment management systems. Located in Buyeo-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, the company possesses the largest domestically developed semi-closed glass greenhouse, enabling year-round cultivation.

Additionally, Woodeumgee Farm is poised to make strides in the financial market by aiming for listing on the KOSDAQ through its merger with Hana Financial Investment's 20th Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) utilizing the SPAC extinction method. This move reflects the company's ambition to surpass major corporations and establish itself as a prominent player in the industry.

Kang Sung-min (강성민), the representative of Woodeumgee Farm, expressed his satisfaction, stating, "Following our success in the Middle East, I am delighted to witness the growing popularity of K-Food in Europe. I extend my gratitude to Chungnam Province, the Korea International Trade Association, and all the organizers involved in making this expo a success."

Kang further emphasized the company's vision, stating, "Building upon our experience at this expo, we will actively collaborate with major retailers worldwide, not only in Europe and the Middle East but also in various regions globally. We are determined to do our best to transform Woodeumgee Farm into a renowned global enterprise."
