The music video for "Dynamite," the latest song by the K-pop super group BTS, is the fastest video to rack up 200 million views on YouTube after setting the mark for reaching 100 million on the video sharing platform.
The video on Aug. 26 at 1 a.m. Korean Standard Time hit 200 million views on YouTube four days and 12 hours after its release on Aug. 21, breaking the previous mark of seven days set by the music video for "How You Like That" by K-pop girl group BLACKPINK.
"Dynamite" topped 200 million views more than a week faster than "Boy with Luv," a BTS song whose music video took 11 days and 19 hours to reach that figure.
"Dynamite" also set its third YouTube mark by being simultaneously viewed by three million viewers upon its release, with its first YouTube record being eclipsing 100 million within 24 hours of its release.
BTS will perform "Dynamite" live for the first time on Aug. 30 in New York at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.
