From October 12 to 16, the Korea Tourism Virtual Fair 2020 will take place online. The fair hopes to vitalize the tourism industry that was negatively impacted by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This will be the first time the fair is opening online.
The opening ceremony for the Korea Tourism Virtual Fair 2020 will release a video clip performed by K-pop girl group ITZY who is the honorary ambassadors and an introduction of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) and Klook.
The fair will have various events such as showcases by famous figures, one-on-one online business counseling services, and PR halls for tourism in Korea and businesses in the travel industry. Especially, during the five-day run, Korean companies and state-run facilities in the tourism sector will get to communicate online with overseas tourism companies including Trip Advisor, Air Canada, JTB Travel, and Trip.com.
