Korea Tourism Organization has started recruiting online supporters, K-Friends. Recruitment started October 20 and it is open to foreigners worldwide.
K-Friends aims to recruit online supporters to help promote Korea and spread K-content to a larger audience. The goal is to recruit 10,000 people this year, 50,000 people by 2023, and finally 100,000 people by 2025.
A total of 10,000 participants will receive a welcome kit on a first-come, first-served basis. Each participant will receive a K-Heritage Card which allows free admission to the four royal palaces in Seoul and tourist sites on Jeju Island.
K-Friends is open to foreigners living in Korea and abroad who use social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Weibo, etc.).
