Daejeon City will hold the 17th Korea Youth Fair at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family for three days from 5.27 (Thursday) to 5.29 (Saturday) to mark the Youth and Family Month in May.

Under the theme of 'Green Korea drawn by teenagers', the fair will be held by organizing eight booths of 3D virtual exhibition halls online due to COVID-19 and will provide various participation and experience programs and information for all Koreans to participate.

Starting with the opening ceremony at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, the event will send video clips of cluster drones (daejeon is U, Korea drawn by teenagers, Kkumdori characters, etc.) and light shows through more than 300 drones.

During the fair, special lectures on mentors invited by celebrities, real stories by 100 teenagers, and specialized programs in Daejeon City will be prepared to introduce Daejeon's food and attractions under the theme of 'Let's Blogging', 'Challenge Green Science Golden Bell', 'Tokt Youth', and culture and tourism.

On the first day of Thursday, a special mentor lecture will be held on career, future, psychology, relationship, and environment. Choi Joo-won, known as a producer of Corona Alert, will give a special lecture on what I can do in Corona.

5.28 (Friday) introduces hobbies such as wise stay-at-home life and home cooking to teenagers and families who have more lives at home due to COVID-19, and various programs for content videos will be provided online.

On Saturday, the last day of the fair, a youth breakkin competition (final), which was adopted as a new event for the 2024 Olympics, will be held. The efforts and voices of domestic and foreign youths interested in climate change behavior will be collected and delivered to the leaders of each country with the contents and declaration of youth's activities in responding to climate change.

We hope that the 17th Korea Youth Fair will be jointly held by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and Daejeon City to promote Daejeon to teenagers across the country and establish an environment in which teenagers can grow healthy and bright.
