Daejeon Seo-gu Council to hold a 30th-anniversary event

Daejeon Seo-gu Council (Chairman Lee Sun-yong) announced that it held an event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Seo-gu Council on April 15.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Seo-gu Council's reopening in 1991, the event was held simply with 30 years of history, progress reports, commendations for parliamentary development, recitation of congratulatory speeches and commemorative videos, and photoshoots.

"On the 30th anniversary of the launch of the local council, the foundation of grassroots democracy, we will further enhance the parliamentary status by faithfully implementing the council's original role of checks and monitoring functions, proposing policy alternatives, and enacting ordinances. To overcome COVID-19 and promote residents' welfare, we will do our best to listen to the voices of the field and develop parliamentary activities. Lee Sun-yong said.
