Moonlight Tour at Changdeokgung (창덕궁) Palace Open

2021-05-07     By Visit Korea

The Moonlight Tour at Changdeokgung Palace will take place from April 29 to June 20. Changdeokgung Palace, one of Korea’s five royal palaces, has hosted this special evening admission event for twelve years.

The tour lasts for approximately 100 minutes, illuminating the main buildings as well as the Secret Garden. This year’s tour course will also include the area around Jondeokjeong Pavilion, set beside a pond shaped like the Korean peninsula.

The most fantastic sight throughout the tour will undoubtedly be seeing the reenactment of a Joseon king and queen out for a walk in the Secret Garden around Buyongji Pond and Juhamnu Pavilion.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online, and cost 30,000 won per person.
