Daejeon e-sports Permanent Stadium opened at the High-tech Science Museum in Expo Science Park in Daejeon.

E-sports is an official event at the Asian Games. It became a demonstration event at the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games, and eight games became an official event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games in China.

In 2019, it was selected as a contest project by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and prepared a permanent e-sports stadium. It opened for the first time in the central region after Busan and Gwangju in the provinces. As a result, various e-sports-related events, which were concentrated in Seoul, can be held in Daejeon.

The high-tech science museum of Expo Science Park has been able to revitalize with the creation of a permanent e-sports stadium.

The name of Daejeon e-sports Stadium is DREAM ARENA, which is made into an amphitheater reminiscent of an ancient Roman amphitheater. With a total of 500 seats, it is said to be the largest in the provinces. In addition, variable seats have been introduced so that they can be used for various purposes depending on the situation of the central stadium.

There are four large LED screens, so it is designed to be visible anywhere in the stadium. In Daejeon, e-sports games can be seen through the field.

In the special order of the opening ceremony, Daejeon Mayor and other figures who participated in the opening ceremony played games themselves.

As such, the electronic display has four sides, so you can see the situation of the game well. It was thrilling to see the players playing through the screen.

That is the seat of Daejeon DREAM ARENA. The front seat is made of a windshield, so there is no problem watching the stadium. There are 500 seats available.

In addition, it is equipped with auxiliary stadiums, waiting rooms, auxiliary control rooms, and educational centers. It has become a space for e-sports games and various cultural events.

The 13th Presidential Cup e-Sports Competition will be held from October 9th to 10th (online due to COVID-19). It is a permanent e-sports stadium of Daejeon DREAM ARENA.
