First sunrise of 2023

The first sunrise of the new year on Jan. 1 rises in the morning above a bridge at Hangang River. 2023 marks the Year of Gyemyo (Black Rabbit) under the Asian zodiac. The photo was taken at the pedestrian walkway Seongsu Gureumdari (Footbridge), next to Seoul Forest in the capital's Seongdong-gu District.
