The organizing committee of the 2022 Daejeon World Federation of Local Governments (Chairman Heo Tae-Jung, the mayor of Daejeon, hereafter referred to as the organizing committee) announced that the 3rd regular board meeting was held on the afternoon of the 22nd.
The board of directors held in the meeting room of the organizing committee (located in Doryong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon) was attended by 10 directors and auditors, including Daejeon Mayor Heo Tae-Jung and WalkintoKorea CEO Kang Dea-Hoon.
The meeting was held with major business reports and listening reports in 2021, supplementary budget (draft) once in 2022, and discussions on the resolution of organization regulations.
The directors who attended the meeting ordered that there are many difficulties in promoting the event due to the continued Corona 19, but do everything possible to ensure that the general meeting proceeds without any setbacks.
Mayor Heo Tae-Jung, who presided over the meeting, said, "As there is still uncertainty, we will do our best to prepare, including thorough quarantine measures and flexible response plans for various situations."
In addition, he said, “This general assembly is a golden opportunity to elevate the international status of Daejeon, the science capital, so we will focus more on government capabilities to make it a success for the rest of the period.”
