Dongdaemun Garment Sewing Association, Seoul Fashion Brand Business Cooperative, and Overseas Korean Economic Cooperative launched a project team to revitalize the Dongdaemun fashion and beauty industry. The launch event took place on May 23rd at 2 PM on the 5th floor of the Dongdaemun DDP Fashion Mall.
During an overseas Zoom meeting, several key figures participated, including:

XENO from India, No Unjin from the private network
Oh Daniel from New Zealand
Representative of MTM FASHION SDN BHD from Malaysia
Modest Fashion Manila from the Philippines
Zarah Fashion from Nigeria
K-Trade Farah from Uzbekistan
Professor Seo Gyuwon from Malaysia
They exchanged opinions on pioneering overseas markets for the Dongdaemun fashion and beauty industry.

Presentations were given by:

● Woo Yoonwoo, CEO of [ISAAC] on the Dongdaemun digital transformation project.
● Kim Jinwoo, CEO of [Halal KoreaCo Ltd],
● Im SoonJa Director of [Hemp Plus], on supporting Dongdaemun startup services and fashion materials. Additionally, many companies participated, including:
[SJ] CEO Lee Jong sik An Kyusun, Director of Shinan Management Quality Institude Lee Seonyeong, CEO of Eurastech Kim Jeongnam from NICE and Traders. They joined the project team for Dongdaemun fashion and beauty brand export marketing.
In the future, there will be monthly Zoom and offline network meetings. A 1800ft (approximately 165 square meters) space will be secured to facilitate collaboration among fashion designers from 30 countries in Dongdaemun. This space will be used for Dongdaemun brand exports and as a network hub.
