Daecheong Lake is an artificial lake that spans Daejeon Metropolitan City, Cheongju City, Okcheon County, and Boeun County. It is used as drinking water and living water in Daejeon and Cheongju. The lake is 80 km long, making it the third-largest lake in Korea. It is well known for its drive course because of its hills and trees spread over the lake. It takes about three hours by car to go around the lake.

It is also popular as a good place to take pictures around the beautiful lake and as a filming site for dramas.
