The Daejeon City Museum of Art will hold a real-time director's invitation meeting on March 5 under the theme of Jeong Do-eon (an honorary professor at Seoul National University College of Medicine) and "What is Mental Analysis?" as an online video program (Zoom) from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In 2021, the invitation of the director of Daejeon City Museum of Art (2) "What is Mental Analysis?" (Professor Jeong Do-eon) explores the connection between art and mental analysis. The theme of sublimation of art and unconsciousness, the relationship between trauma and art, and the connection of unconsciousness between artists and appreciators into artworks are solved freely.
Director Sun Seung-hye said, "The 2021 director-invitation meeting is a plan to start a new art of empathy by linking art and psychiatry." "With the COVID-19 Pandemic, we designed to reflect on the minds of citizens with art." She said.
Professor Jeong Do-eon has been a professor of medicine at Seoul National University and Seoul National University Hospital for more than 30 years, leading the education of patient analysis and psychoanalysis. As a psychiatrist, neurologist, and sleep medicine specialist, he has been named in various media outlets. He served as the founding chairman of the Korean Association for Psychiatric Analysis and a member of the International Association for Psychiatric Analysis. There are more than 200 academic papers at home and abroad, as well as books such as 'The Chair of Freud' and 'Freud's Recipe'.
