Jung-gu District (District Mayor Park Yong-gap) in Daejeon is planning to build a luxury *Dulle-gil in **Ppuri Park and Yudeungcheon Stream, which are Hyo Theme Parks, by 2023.
*Dulle-gil is a road built to make it easier to move on foot.
**Ppuri Park is the world's first theme park for filial piety. It is equipped with sculptures symbolizing his family name. It is the world's first ‘Hyo’ theme park equipped with various facilities such as a waterfront stage, lawn square, an observatory that hosts various events.
Jung-gu District plans to set up pedestrian paths and lighting facilities in the 2.9km section of Ppuri Park Intersection, Ppuri Park, and Chimsan Bridge, and was selected for the Daejeon Metropolitan City Balanced Development Fund on April 22 and will receive 4 billion won, 70 percent of the total project cost. In addition, related procedures have been implemented, including passing a review of local financial project projects in Jung-gu on the 13th.
Starting in July this year, Jung-gu District plans to push for basic and implementation designs and collect opinions from experts and citizens in the process, and the construction will begin in the first half of 2022 and complete the construction in 2023.
District Mayor Park Yong-gap said, "Recently, the number of residents walking in parks and streams for their health is increasing," and added, "We will do our best to promote a luxury Dulle-gil project that can provide various attractions and healing in connection with Ppuri Park and Daejeon O-World.“
