Choi Young-Joon, who has been working as a silent-movie narrator for the past 35 years, appeared on the show and said, "I dreamed of becoming a silent-film narrator by watching the performance of speaker Shin-Chul."

He said, "One day, I saw a poster that said 'The Prosecutor and Teacher Yeo' (검사와 여선생) will be screened, and I went to visit him, and he said, "I thought I should do it after watching it. It seemed that this jewelry-like content would disappear when the old man died." said.

And he became the last speaker of this era. In 1988, silent films were hard to find. And he became the last silent-film narrator of this era. In 1988, silent films were hard to find. After thinking about it, he eventually took his own money and turned the movie 'Lee Soo-Il and Shim Soon-Ae' into a silent film and made his debut on his own.

It was difficult for him to make a living, and he was active in various fields, from comedians to singers. Born in 1990 as a KBS comedian, he was active as a comedian in 'Humor No. 1' (유머1번지) and 'My Hometown at 6' (6시 내고향),  and as a singer for the original song of '100 Great People Who Brightened Korea' (한국을 빛낸 100명의 위인들).

However, he could not give up on the dream of becoming a silent-film narrator that he had kept in his heart. In the end, he decided to retire as a comedian after three years.

Choi Young-Joon said, "I had a sense of duty and responsibility for the silent film's death." "I wanted to continue the legacy of the death. I thought that it would be a great loss of Korean culture."

He then followed his dream and became a silent-film narrator and toured all over the country, performing overseas in the United States. He recalled, "I was thrilled with the applause of about 1,500 spectators who filled the auditorium during the LA concert," he recalled.

At the broadcast site, he performed the historical drama 'Lee Soo-Il and Shim Soon-Ae' (이수일과 심순애) and received enthusiastic responses from the cast.

Choi Young-Joon said, "The need for silent films does not disappear just because culture develops, it is about laughing and laughing with the audience in line with this era," and he added, "I hope someone will see my work and continue to be a narrator."

His hope is to create a silent film museum. Choi Young-Joon said, "I have a dream of keeping not only silent films from all over the world but also Korean silent films for future generations.."

So far, Choi Young-Joon has been active as a "21st-century silent-film narrator" in 'Lee Soo-Il and Shim Soon-Ae' (이수일과 심순애), 'The Prosecutor and Teacher Yeo' (검사와 여선생), and 'Na Un-Gyu's Arirang' (나운규의 아리랑).

He is a theater actor, a singer-songwriter, a comedian, and an all-rounder who worked as a radio DJ. Last year, he published a book of ink-and-wash essays, 'I am Picasso's Grandfather' (내가 피카소 할애비다). He is also active as a columnist for this magazine and is serializing 'Choi Young-Joon's Life Comics of Rustic Murder' (내가 피카소 할애비다).
