Korea Tourism Organization, in collaboration with Lotte Department Store Sisihosi (Curation store), has developed local specialty food souvenir products from around the country. After picking 100 food nominees based on the data collected through a survey from foreign travelers, eight “Local Specialty Food Tourism Souvenir” were made after a year of preparation and development.
The eight food items are seaweed snack, pork jerky, tofu chip, wafer, crab shell paste, fermented tea, grain syrup caramel, wild herb and vegetables mushroom rice. They will be sold at the pop-up store on the 1st basement floor of the Lotte Department Store Main Branch in Sogong-dong from November 11-17, as well as Sisihosi stores in five other Lotte Department Store branches (Gimpo, Dongtan, Pyeongchon, Busan, and Incheon) from November 17-24, Project Rent 05 pop-up store in Seongsu-dong from November 21-27, and at DDP “Korea Tourist Souvenir Fair 2022” running from December 2-3.
