Boryeong Mud Festival is one of the most celebrated summer events especially to foreign visitors in Korea. The festival attracted more than 1.8 million visitors last year.
Boryeong City has been producing good quality of mud cosmetics since 1995. You can try and experience a variety range of Boryeong Mud cosmetics in the Boryeong Mud Skincare Center.
The Boryeong Mud Skincare Center (#2022 Sinheuk-dong, Boryeong, Chungnam) on Daecheon Beach is large enough to accommodate 460 visitors (1st and 2nd floors) at a time.
It features men’s facilities on the 1st floor and women’s facilities and exhibition hall on the 2nd floor. As the nation’s only mud skincare center, it offers a variety of fascinating mud programs (ex: Mud massage, mud sauna, mud skin care, spa, aroma bath, etc.) throughout the year.
