On January 16, 2023, Dubai's largest agricultural company, Elite Agro, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Korean-style smart farm exports in recognition of WoodeumgeeFarm cultivation and production technology.
In the future, WoodeumgeeFarm and Elite Agro plan to build an additional $10 million glass greenhouse (3.3ha) and $800,000 food factory, as well as a European vegetable smart farm (such as lettuce).
It also plans to jointly conduct export marketing of Korean agricultural products such as stevia tomatoes through Elite Global Fresh, a subsidiary of Elite Agro.
WoodeumgeeFarm has the largest smart farm complex in Korea with a size of 114,400 square meters (33,000 pyeong), and Udumji Farm has high-sugar stevia tomato development technology in Gyuam-myeon, Buyeo-gun, and accompanied President Yoon Suk Yeol on his UAE trip from 14th to 21st, 2023.
Meanwhile, Buyeo-gun proposed the trademark attachment of the joint agricultural product brand "Goodtrae" which won the grand prize for 13 consecutive years, and decided to support logistics and packaging costs for future exports.
