Established in 2008 and accredited by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Korean Professional Makeup Artists Career Exchange Association offers a range of 19 private qualifications in beauty-related fields, including makeup, special effects makeup, airbrushing, illustration, eyelashes, upstyle, waxing, and nail art. Through competitions and contests, the association seeks to unearth talented artists and promote beauty education through seminars.
Yana Trip Co., Ltd., a Middle Eastern-focused travel agency based in Dubai, provides travel services as well as exhibitions, events, and overseas business operations for KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and the Small and Medium Business Administration.
The jointly-planned program by the Korean Professional Makeup Artists Career Exchange Association and Yana Trip Co., Ltd. is designed to provide participants with a week of K-makeup training and certification by the association's professional instructors. Additionally, the program offers opportunities to experience Korean culture through palace tours, cooking classes, and K-pop tours.
This event is sponsored by Halal Korea Co., Ltd. Halal Korea (Representative Kim Jin-woo - 김진우) is a professional company that provides halal certification and consulting services. This program is expected to debut at the Dubai ATM in May, targeting the emerging Muslim tourism market and Middle Eastern tourists with a specialized program, and plans to enter the Southeast Asian Muslim market through the Malaysia MATTA FAIR in September.
