Ninh Bình – Ha Long Bay on land. The famous places in Binh Ninh (or Tam Coc town) can be visited during one day, however, for full discovery its beauty, I spend 4 days there.Tam Coc town, 5km northwest of Ninh Binh has become the go-to place to stay. There are many hostels, guesthouses, souvenir shops as well as tourist restaurants serving Western foods.
Trang An landscape is north of Tam Coc, 20 minutes by motorbike. You can wake up in the morning surrounding by the misty peaks. Occasionally, you may hear the bird sound. At night, walking along the quite street, visitors can enjoy the light of fireflies. Most of motels, eco-resort and homestay in Trang An are located near the river.
In Trang An, there is the boat trip giving a nice journey along the river and lake surrounded by majestic limestone mountains. Am Tien Cave (Tuyet Tinh Coc) is a national monument of Hoa Lu ancient capital, the climate in Am Tien is cool all year round. Before building a tunnel through the mountain to the cave, Am Tien cave was quite isolated so not many people knew of it, including the locals. As a land separate from the outside, it is a beautiful "oasis", worthy destination in Ninh Binh's journey of tourist
