Hello! I am Shruti, an intern at Walkinto Korea and a master's student at Solbridge International School of Business. During my internship with Walkinto Korea, I have had the opportunity to rediscover my passions and gain valuable experiences. In this article, I would like to share my personal journey and the impact Walkinto Korea has had on my life.
From Mumbai to the World
Originally hailing from the bustling city of Mumbai, situated on the west coast of India, I have always had a love for travel. Even as a child, I found joy in the journey itself, cherishing every moment spent exploring new places. Alongside my passion for travel, I developed an affinity for writing essays and capturing memories through photography. It was during a hike at the Sinhagad fort in Pune, India, at the age of 11, that I realized my deep enjoyment of these activities. From that moment on, I knew that my future would involve travel, writing, and photography, documenting the beauty of people and places.
Pursuing My Calling
Driven by this realization, I decided to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Tourism, where I further nurtured my passions. It was a fulfilling journey, and I felt like I had found my true calling. Little did I know that this was only the beginning of my path toward a fulfilling future. Throughout my exploration of the tourism industry, one country stood out to me the most - South Korea.
The Journey Continues
Inspired by my fascination with South Korea, I made the decision to pursue my master's degree in this captivating country. As I embarked on this new journey, trying to keep my life on track, that little girl in me got lost. I felt a slight detachment from my passions, unsure of what lay ahead. Not losing hope, there’s a line in one of the bollywood songs which says, "the journey is more beautiful than the destination" that always kept me going. I always loved that verse in particular, but never truly understood the meaning until now.
Rediscovering My Passions
Fortunately, I was presented with the opportunity to join the internship program at Walkinto Korea, exclusively designed for students of my university. It was here that I rediscovered my true passions. I realized that they had always been a part of me, waiting to be reignited. I am immensely grateful to Mr. Kang Dea Hoon, CEO of Walkinto Korea, for playing a pivotal role in helping me rediscover my path. His guidance, sharing of experiences and expertise, constant smile, and respect for everyone's opinions make him a true inspiration.
Working Experience in Walkinto Korea
The team at Walkinto Korea is comprised of passionate individuals who are not only kind but also hard-working. Despite the vast array of content that Walkinto Korea covers, the team makes it seem effortless. During my internship, I have had the opportunity to publish articles and engage in research work, feeling that each task brings me one step closer to the future I desire - one that encapsulates my passions for travel, writing, and photography.
My journey with Walkinto Korea has been transformative. Through this internship, I have rediscovered my passions and gained valuable experiences in the fields of travel, writing, and photography. I am grateful to the entire team at Walkinto Korea for their support and dedication. Moreover, I found solace in the support and encouragement I received from those around me. The warmth and kindness of these people, as well as their guidance and mentorship from them, became a source of inspiration. Their belief in my abilities reignited my passion and fueled my determination to embrace my true calling. As I move forward, I am confident that the lessons learned and the connections made during this internship will shape my future endeavors and enable me to live a life aligned with my true passions.
