The inauguration ceremony of Chairman Choi was held at Lotte City Hotel, with various dignitaries in attendance, including Mayor Lee Chang-woo (이장우) and local members of the National Assembly. In his new role, Chairman Choi expressed his commitment to foster the region's construction industry by establishing close collaborative relationships with relevant organizations. He emphasized the importance of promoting mutual understanding and trust at the association level, to facilitate seamless communication with procurement agencies and provide member companies with increased opportunities to participate in major local construction projects.

Founding Indeok Construction in 1993, Chairman Choi has upheld a business philosophy of fostering growth and co-prosperity with partner companies. Recently, Indeok Construction achieved success in constructing and selling the mixed-use building "Sollian City".

Beyond his achievements in the business world, Chairman Choi has actively served as an advisor to the Korean Association for the Disabled for many years, embodying corporate social responsibility. In Daejeon's Yuseong District, he provided a site free of charge for cultivating potatoes and peppers, creating an experiential space for disabled individuals and children. Recognizing his contributions to both corporate management and social contributions, he was awarded the Seoktap Industry Medal last year.

Chairman Choi has ambitious plans to strengthen partnerships with Daejeon Metropolitan City. Aligning with Mayor Lee Chang-woo's 8th term goal of developing "Daejeon, a Top-Ranked Economic City", the local construction industry aims to play a pivotal role.

Chairman Choi remarked, "Mayor Lee is actively promoting various projects to realize Daejeon, a Top-Ranked Economic City". He further added, "The Daejeon Branch of the Korea Construction Association is in discussions to ensure the full participation of comprehensive construction companies in these initiatives".

Daejeon City is currently undertaking colossal public-private partnership (PPP) projects, such as the construction of the 2nd Line of the Daejeon Urban Rail (tram) with a budget of 1.5 trillion won and the development of a 5.3 million square meter nano-semiconductor national industrial complex. Additionally, Chairman Choi is working diligently to secure the participation of local construction companies in projects such as the construction of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration building and the 70 billion won construction of the Korean plant of the German biopharmaceutical company Merck, currently underway in the Daejeon station area. Furthermore, the Daejeon Branch is exploring options to ensure that large construction companies participate as joint contractors by at least 30% during reconstruction and redevelopment projects in the Daejeon area, starting from the architectural review stage.

Building upon these endeavors, the Daejeon Branch of the CAK is poised to contribute to the vibrant and thriving city of Daejeon, ultimately playing a significant role in making Daejeon a top-ranked economic city.
