The highlight of the event was an exquisite Desi Fashion Show, which transcended borders and featured participants not only from India but also from Korea, as well as from distant lands like Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. As the models gracefully walked the runway adorned in their traditional attire, the audience was treated to a visual feast of colors and styles.
Adding a layer of joy and camaraderie to the festivity, Desi games like Antakshari were played with enthusiasm, involving the audience in an interactive and spirited manner. The Desi Cultural Festival was graced by the presence of esteemed special guests, Dr. Lakhvinder Singh and Ms. Meenakshi Power. Dr. Lakhvinder Singh, fondly recognized as the father of strategic relationship between Korea and India, has dedicated 25 years of unwavering commitment to strengthening these ties. His presence was a testament to the enduring friendship between the two nations.
Ms. Swarnim, organizer of the Desi Cultural Fest, eloquently emphasized that the connection between India and Korea extends far beyond mere trade and economic cooperation.
