'Smart Jobs' (Representative Park Kyung-bae) is a gathering of various occupations in the Daejeon area, meaning smart occupations, and is one of the best gatherings in Daejeon, engaging in a variety of activities ranging from liveliness, collaboration, and service.
The community has about 120 members, and usually do volunteer work including delivering groceries to low-income families. It is an organization where all members come from a variety of occupations and help each other through coexistence. With the name ‘Smart Jobs’, it is said to be a group that develops by learning promotional marketing using SNS.
The expenses for this overseas volunteer service came from the members’ own funds, as well as sharing used clothes and groceries that they had prepared before.
The Lapu-Lapu City area in Cebu was where they visited this time. 70 low-income families were supported by receiving daily necessities and groceries. The group also donated used clothes prepared by Smart Jobs members in Korea and spent meaningful time volunteering to prepare meals.
Park Kyung-bae, the standing representative, expressed gratitude to the 42 members who participated this time and to the ones who prepared used clothes, “I hope that in the future, we will be reborn as an organization that contributes even a small helping hand at home and abroad.”
In the global era, we hope that Daejeon's representative community 'Smart Jobs' will develop further and become a community that attracts attention not only in Korea but also around the world.
