Hosted by Buyeo-gun (Governor Park Jeong-hyeon), the ‘Visiting SW Future Education Program’ was successfully completed by providing participants with a wealth of experience in knowledge and future technology through various activities such as robot coding education and 3D pen maker hands-on training.
From November 20 to December 13, this educational program was conducted with 15 schools and facilities in geographically and economically disadvantaged areas, and a total of 258 students participated in the program. They had the opportunity to acquire practical skills through robot coding training and 3D pen maker training. Program participants showed progress in various aspects of learning, including creative problem-solving through robot coding and improving creativity and collaboration skills through 3D pen-maker practice. In addition, at the end of the program, training participants heightened their sense of accomplishment and developed their desire to create future knowledge. Program participants concluded the program with satisfaction from receiving high-level education in preparation for future challenges. In particular, 10 instructors trained through the SW learning moderator training course conducted in collaboration with Chungnam National University.
Buyeo County Governor Park Jeong-hyun said, “Through this visiting SW future education program, we provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen core competencies necessary for future industries,” and added, “Buyeo County will continue to contribute to the development of the local community through educational activities.”.
