The Royal Palaces and Tombs Management Office of the National Cultural Heritage Bureau and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation announced on October 14 that it would hold a special event titled "Fall at the Palace 2020 - Gungcance in Gyeongbokgung" from October 19 to October 25.
This event includes the programs "Autumn Fun at Geonchunmun", "Donggung Daily Imitation Program" and "Sojubang Experience".
During the "Autumn Fun at Geonchunmun" section, visitors will be able to enjoy dried persimmon and chestnuts, a foot bath experience with oriental herbs. In the section "Donggung Daily Imitation Program", people will be able to learn about the daily life of the Prince of the Joseon Dynasty. In the "Sojubang Experience" section, visitors will be able to enjoy traditional music and royal cuisine.
Tickets to the event will be available for sale on the Auction Ticket website (http://ticket.auction.co.kr) from 2pm October 16. The number of participants per day is limited to a maximum of 100 people, and admission fees are between 12,000 and 18,000 won (10 to 16 USD).
