The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Jan. 19 announced the launch of online tourism products dubbed "K-tour Top 10" jointly with the Tourism Development Institute.
The programs feature 39 selected regions that have been grouped into 10 areas based on their unique themes and stories for the enjoyment of visitors.
Also in the virtual tours, experts provide commentary and real-time communication with viewers through videos on the ten areas.
The videos are available through Feb. 25 on Korean and foreign online travel platforms, with six tours narrated in Korean for locals and nine in English for non-Koreans.
The nine English-language videos feature Suwon, Gangneung, Daegu, Busan, Gyeongju, Jeonju, Mokpo, Gongju/Buyeo-gun County and Danyang-gun County/Jecheon and the tourist attractions and food of each area. The videos are presented like the itinerary of a real trip.

The ministry said it hopes that the videos help people abroad preparing to visit Korea.
