Artist Residency TEMI, celebrating its 9th anniversary this year, is holding the '2022 PREVIEW' presenting major works by six talented artists from March 31 to April 17. Two years have passed since COVID-19 changed various aspects of daily life. A large number of artists were unable to display their creative outcomes publicly, and their artistic activities were faced with numerous constraints and difficulties. Artist Residency TEMI shared that the situation had got them all very frustrated and they felt bad about not being able to show their audiences everything that they had prepared.
The '2022 PREVIEW' is the starting point with which to share with audiences the spirit and atmosphere of TEMI before we were hit by the pandemic. Artist Residency TEMI has announced that they would exhibit the leading photogram works, installations and video works by the 9th resident artists who moved in this February, including Kim YoungJin (김영진), Kim WonJin (김원진), Kim HeeSoo (김희수), You JangWoo (유장우), Lee WoongCheol (이웅철), and Jun HyeJoo (전혜주), while also holding the Open Studio program that presents the one and only opportunity to visit and observe their creative spaces this year.
In addition, Artist Residency TEMI also offers a variety of non-contact art experience programs such as the TEMI Open Concert, where people can enjoy artistry and romance, Art Reporter for sharing ideas about artworks, TEMI Stamp Tour, and TEMI String Work.
The organizers hope that the audiences can spend a wonderful time healing through art on a spring day filled with cherry blossoms at Artist Residency TEMI. They also look forward to your warm support and concern for the creative activities of their 9th anniversary with resident artists throughout the next 9 months, starting with the '2022 PREVIEW'.
