On the 21st, Mokwon University announced that President Lee Hee-hak (이희학), Vice President Lee Chang-Soo (이창수) of the Office of External Cooperation, and Director Cheon Myung-Hwan (천명환) of the International Cooperation Office recently visited three local universities in Beijing, Shijiazhuang, and Shenyang in China to sign business agreements for academic exchanges, student study abroad programs, and other collaborative initiatives.

Accompanied by President Lee Hee-hak, the delegation negotiated with Zhangjiakou Vocational and Technical College, a renowned public university with a long history and strong internationalization capabilities, to facilitate student, faculty, and research staff exchanges, short-term training programs, cultural and academic exchanges, and credit transfers.

The President of Zhangjiakou Vocational and Technical College commented, "Both Zhangjiakou Vocational and Technical College, renowned for its specialization in IT, and Mokwon University, known for its strengths in culture and arts, are distinguished universities with their unique advantages based on innovation. We hope for active exchanges to continue through ongoing communication."

President Lee Hee-hak and the delegation also visited Hubei Polytechnic University and Luxun Academy of Fine Arts to sign agreements for academic cooperation. Additionally, they had discussions with the Ministry of Commerce in Beijing on developing internationalization programs related to management education.

Furthermore, President Lee and the delegation engaged in discussions with Tangwei Shijiang Secretary of the Party Committee, and other representatives from Hebei Chemical and Pharmaceutical College to explore academic exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. They also held discussions on student exchange programs with Shenyang University and Tohoku University.

President Lee Hee-hak stated, "Mokwon University, as a prestigious private institution leading educational innovation, has been recognized by the Ministry of Education as a certified university for internationalization capabilities for six consecutive terms. We will make efforts to foster the growth of both universities through various joint research projects and the development of educational programs."
