Exhibits railway artworks and artifacts at Culture Station Seoul 284 (formerly Seoul Station) from March 29 to April 21. Singer Young-Tak with the role as the KORAIL's promotional ambassador, is being looked forward to synergy of familiarity in everyday life

To mark the 20th anniversary of the opening of KTX, the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) will hold a railway culture exhibition at Seoul 284 (formerly Seoul Station) from 29th to 21st of this month.

The exhibition theme of the Railway Culture Exhibition is "Journey Beyond Plus: Beyond the Journey," which consists of artworks exploring the changes caused by KTX and railroads, as well as experiencing railway relics and technologies.

It will showcase artworks reinterpreting railroads in collaboration with more than 10 up-and-coming and senior artists who work in various fields such as media, sculpture, installation, and photography.

In particular, railroad technologies displayed Korail's past, present, and future in an archival manner that allows users to see the past, present, and future of Korail at once. It visually shows continuous progress and development through railroad equipment and parts developed in each of the four fields: facility, electricity, vehicle, and research.

Outside the exhibition hall, visitors can watch videos of KTX-related commentary lectures. Choi Tae-sung, a history communicator, will explain the KTX brand book "The Republic of Korea that has changed 20 years since it was compiled by Korail to commemorate the 20th anniversary of KTX. It will be broadcast three times a day (11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.) on Saturdays and Sundays during the exhibition period.

Meanwhile, KORAIL also held an appointment ceremony to appoint singer Young Tak, a well-known singer for all ages, as Korail's ambassador. Young Tak is expected to have a synergy effect with the railroad that is shared in the daily life of the people. He shared, "We will try to convey a good and positive energy with KTX, our partner of the people. And, congratulations on the 20th anniversary of KTX!”

Korail President Han Moon-hee stated, "We have prepared a variety of moments when railroads have changed the daily life and culture of Korea. I hope everyone can feel that the railroad that naturally permeates into our daily lives and creates a new culture."
